   West Bend Library Appearance

On Wednesday, September 5, 2007, @ 7:00 p.m. in the Library Story Room, West Bend Library will host local author Michael S.
Orban, who will speak about his new book  -  “Souled Out: A Memoir of War and Inner Peace.”  The back of his book states, “My
purpose in writing this book is to share my personal experiences and continuing battle with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome
with those who have had, or will have, the same reaction to a traumatic event, as well as their families and friends.  Whether
from war, personal tragedy, rape, abuse or other violence, the lasting effects of these harrowing ordeals need much attention.
Our society can, and should, learn to better understand and offer expedient emotional and spiritual relief for those souls and
minds so deeply wounded.” (click here for more)

When Michael Orban of West Bend started to effectively cope with post-traumatic stress following a stint in the Vietnam War and
years of mental anguish, he felt compelled to share his experience.

"When I found a lot of the answers for myself, I had a voice that said 'this is not your information to keep,'" Orban said. (click

"...is wonderful! I'm about 3/4 through it and enjoying it immensely. It
gives a clear and "user-friendly" feeling for PTSD."

"Thank you so much for sending me a copy. I will be recommending your book plenty!"

Best of luck,
Patti
